WGC2023

The next World Geothermal Congress takes place in Beijing, China from 17 to 21 April 2023. Jointly with our host, SINOPEC Star and Arctic Green, we will ensure a premier, global event for the geothermal community. We have a top notch technical programme and we will convene investors, policy makers, pioneering cities and media writers to tackle the most important target of this #geothermal decade: ensuring global geothermal growth.

Geothermal Data Standards

The IGA built a framework for geothermal data standards and methods to improve data collection and update the World Geothermal Congress (WGC) reporting. This work was led by the IGA Education and Information Committee with the goal to support the process of collecting, storing, and sharing coherent geothermal datasets.
